Dust and wastes have always been a serious and everlasting problem for textile industry.

Although dust collection and separation had greatly improved, both in efficiency and safety, through a significant progress in installation tecnique, some arising difficulties, related to dust stocking and subsequent removal, were still to be overcome.

The briquetting system, designed and improved by MAZZINIICI over the last years, represents a safe and economical solution of this problem.

The system equipped with F1-20 briquetting machine is capable of collecting and pressing all the unserviceable dust and wastes.

Discarded within a textile plant, by thorough excluding manual operation concerned with emptying the dust containers of each single station.
High versatily in the use enables it to be fitted the most of the current fibre filtering and separating systems.

Dust and by-products of textile processing are collected into special hoppers, after being trapped by pneumatic valves, intermittently opening under programmer control, and delivered through a piping system to a separator placed on the briquetting machine.

Through briquetting operation, dust and by-product volume is reduced to about 1/10th, whose density may vary from 500 to 800 kg/cm, depending upon material components.

The considerable advantages thus obtained can be summed up as follows:
drastic reduction of dust and waste bulk stocked, ease of handling along with trasport and storing automation possibility, waste salvaging and resuse as high grade fuel for furnaces provided with suitable smoke cleaners.
